Each and every one of our pastries is made here in our patisserie and never, ever bought in. From our croissants to our chai, we take pride in creating unique yet authentic French classics that are hard to find in Belfast. You can see the chefs working away in our open kitchen and catch a glimpse of what we're baking that day.
Escape the rush and don't feel any pressure to move on in our cozy cafe. Along with a fully stocked bookshelf with tons of classics, if you're more tech-minded we offer free WiFi as well as multiple power points and USB chargers. Perfect for your office away from home or a meeting space. Our favourite radio station FIP, direct from Paris, will help you discover amazing new music.
Owner and head chef, Daniel C. Duckett started baking professionally at No27 Talbot Street in 2011. When the restaurant closed its doors, he was already planning a move to Paris with the goal of working for a local patisserie. Daniel had no idea that events would fall into place to allow him to work in the world-renowned tea room and patisserie Angelina on the rue de Rivoli. When Daniel returned to Belfast he knew people were ready for the classics he'd learned to create in Paris. In 2018 Lazy Claire Patisserie opened on the Castlereagh Road.
Our chef, Daniel, has been nominated for Best Pastry Chef by Food and Wine Ireland! He will be headed to Dublin on Sunday 25 August for the awards ceremony so best of luck to him and everyone else who has been nominated!
